Julianne Wallace Sterling earned a degree in economics, but couldn't deny her creative side. She went back to school to study art. Figurative work always appealed to her and she loved working with live models.

Happy to see this article on Julianne Wallace Sterling. I love the "dry humor" and social commentary in her work. I'm equally impressed with her technical abilities as a painter, which give her unique ideas such strong communicative powers.
