Times: 8:00am-4:00pm & 4:00pm-6:00pm (extended care option)
Location: University Village Community Center, Albany, CA

-Learn more about nutrition & where our food comes from, while preparing food from scratch

-Investigate leadership roles & promote environmental stewardship
CONSTRUCTING PROJECTS!
-Craft works of art using recycled materials

-Conduct science experiments & learn more about the natural world

Housing at University Village is limited to UC-Berkeley students and their families. According to the village, 65 countries and 27 languages are represented in the complex.

The Village is than three miles from campus, is bordered by two creeks and has a community garden and a kids' teaching garden.
There is a community center, a Family Resource Center, a computer center, recreation programs, youth services programs, and many large and small events, from workshops on budgeting to a cherry blossom festival and musical performances by residents.
Of the more than 800 families who live in the Village, more than half have children. University Village is home to more than 800 children, most of whom are preschool and elementary school aged.
