Theory of Play - Free class at Teen Center

This Wednesday, Jan 25th join us at the Teen Center for a FREE Theory of Play class. You must pre register and there will be a prize for the largest group of T(w)eens that register together.

The class runs from 4-5pm but if you pre-register, you are welcome to stay for the whole day (2-6pm)! Snacks will be served.

Theory of Play

What do juggling, dodge-ball, four square with your feet (aka foot-square) and improv games all have in common? Come to theory of play class to find out. Each meeting will include wacky activities and games with a focus on team work and far out fun. Taught by certified personal trainer and recreational rebel Heather Robinson.

The Albany Teen Center is open to all teens in sixth through ninth grade or from ages 11 to 15, offering drop-in activities, trips, sports activities and homework help from staff during the school year and over the summer break. The Teen Center building has a 52-inch LCD television, computer lab, video games, pool table and an outdoor area. It is available for rental on weekday evenings, and all day on weekends. In the summer the center hosts various field trips around the Bay Area, as well as games and educational programs designed to keep teens entertained and to build character. During the school year, the Teen Center is open Monday through Friday after school and on all school holidays, with transportation available from Albany Middle School.
