Albany Local Week - Businesses Give Back

You know if you shop at a local business, more of your money stays in the community. Many Chamber member businesses also give back in various ways. 

 Here’s today’s sample of business good citizens in Albany, more tomorrow:

 Little Star Pizza – 10 percent of sales on first Mondays to Albany Education Foundation.

 Ivy Room – sponsors Urban Villagers adult softball team.

 K2TOG - $1,000 scholarship for Youth of the Year.

 B&T Bookkeeping – Mentors Albany High School Students in Venture program.

 And don’t forget those business owners who are always happy to donate to the PTA, Little League or other nonprofit fundraisers.  And many owners who live in Albany donate their time and talents to sports teams, local service and nonprofit organizations, and City boards and commissions.
