What's the State of the City? Find Out on April 26

The State of the City luncheon is coming up this week. Learn how to sign up to attend.

The Albany city government and school district are making some hard choices in trying to do more with less. After two years of personnel and program cuts, revenues continue to drop while costs rise.

Join your business and citizen colleagues to hear how Albany is facing its most critical budget year so far. Presentations by the mayor, city manager, superintedent of schools, police chief and fire chief will celebrate what they have been able to creatively accomplish and lay out some of the difficult decisions that lie ahead.

The 3rd Annual State of the City Luncheon will be held this Thursday, April 26, from 11:30 to 1 p.m., at , 1133 Solano Avenue. The cost is $30 to the general public and $25 for Chamber of Commerce members.
