Brighter Beginnings, a family strenghtening center, offers Bay area individuals, families, and organizations the opportunity to help support low-income families in Alameda and Contra Costa counties during the Holiday Season.
This is how it works: You fill out an "adoption" form with information about the size of the family and ages of the children that you would like to support. We then provide you with a matching family profile with "wish lists" from each of the family members. You then shop for the gifts, wrap them, and drop them off at one of our centers in Alameda or Contra Costa County. Last year, 250 families, and nearly 1,000 family members had their wish lists fulfilled.
