An exciting annual Saint Mary's High senior tradition took place today as members of the Class of 2012 - the school's 149th senior class - gathered during morning break to share donuts, add the names of their college acceptances (and new school mascots) to a giant banner, and take a class picture wearing tees and sweatshirts from the college or university they will attend next year. The happy group is busy presenting the results of their individual Senior Projects* this week and next, with AP exams to follow, final music, dance, and theatre arts events, Junior-Senior Prom on May 19, final exams, and the annual Presentation of the Senior Class to the student body in early June. Baccalaureate Mass and graduation will take place the weekend of June 9 and 10.
Ninety-nine percent of Saint Mary's seniors go on to college or university studies after graduation.
Congratulations, Seniors! You are Panthers forever!
