Counter protest Occupy the Farm

Please join the counter protest of Occupy the Farm's planned action at 11 am tomorrow (Saturday, May 18th). Meet on the east side of San Pablo at Monroe. Occupy the Farm is targeting the proposed development site along Monroe that was previously occupied by housing for 70 years. After a five year process, the Albany City Council provided most of the approvals for development. There are still some aspects to work out through the normal democratic process, but whether this land should grow food sufficient to fully sustain just a few people is not one of them.
