Saint Mary's Alums Make Headlines

Two Saint Mary's High alumni have made recent headlines. Patrick Landeza, Class of 1990 and  renowned Berkeley-born musician, made history recently when he became the first mainland artist to nab a Na Hoku Hanohano award, which is the Hawaiian equivalent of a Grammy. Landeza won for slack key guitar album of the year, for his latest offering, "Slack Key Huaka'i."

Class of 2011 alumnus, Chris Carnegie, will play for Army against Stanford this weekend before returning to classes at West Point.  Chris' story is featured today on sfgate.com.  Click to read.

Congratulations to both men from their alma mater!

Catch the Panthers against Riordan of San Francisco at Brady Park on the Saint Mary's campus this Saturday, JV at 11 a.m., and Varsity at 1:30 p.m.  The game will be broadcast online, as well.  Go Panthers!
