On Albany Beach I find the ruins
Of a lost civilization
Only to discover that
It is my own.
Amber holds some of these treasures:
"Dog tags" of noble warriors
Marbles of little children
Beads of ancient American
Art of modern asians
Bones of once beloved pets…
Traces of lost loves.
Amber holds these treasures
Unaware that she is one of them.
Who will treasure her and her living friends
On the Bulb As much as she treasures them?
