Albany Police Activities League Car Show Brings Out Classics

The Albany Police Activities League annual July 4 Classic Car Show brought out some amazing cars.  Viewers enjoyed the variety from the late 1920's to an early 1970's model.  Owners enjoyed sharing with each other information and special tips about their cars and where to get parts, etc.

After long deliberation Mayor Peggy Thomsen selected the 1947 Lincoln owned by Harold Harbarth as the "Mayor's Marvel.  Police Chief Mike McQuiston  chose the 1956 Chevy Station Wagon as the "Chief's Coice".  The "Fan Favorite" was the 1967 Ford Mustang owned (since the beginning) by Joan Uhrhammer.

Thank you to our sponsors, Nippon European Motors, Mechanics Bank, and Adhesive Products, Inc. and to all of the participants for a fun day.  See you next year!
