19-Year-Old Cat 'Dinki' Is Missing

"Missing Cat" posters have been posted in North Berkeley near Albany for Dinki, a 19-year-old golden straw-colored cat. It's the second time that Dinki has gone missing in the past year.

If you see a skinny, senior-citizen cat with a coat the color of golden straw, it might be the missing "Dinki."

We spotted a "Cat Missing" flyer for 19-year-old Dinki on a telephone pole at Nielson Street and San Lorenzo Avenue near the Albany border in North Berkeley's Thousand Oaks neighborhood that was dated April 24, 2013. We called the owner today, May 10, and she said he's still missing and that she put additional flyers up today.

The flyer we saw has an original date of July 3, 2012 that was marked out. (See attached photo of the flyer.) The owner explained that Dinki went missing last year as well and was found four days later in a storm drain on Solano Avenue.

Dinki is not as orange as he appears in the photo on the some of the flyers, the owner said. She provided two additional photos of him that we have attached to this article.

Anyone who sees Dinki is asked to call 510-525-1305 or email lapetals@yahoo.com.
