Albany Outdoor Pool Closed
The outdoor pool at the Albany Aquatic Center is closed indefinitely because of mechanical issues, the center said.
The outdoor pool at the Albany Aquatic Center is closed because of mechanical issues, according the center's website.
"The Outdoor Pool will be closed until further notice due to mechanical issues," the center's message says. "We apologize for the inconvenience."
A Patch reader said the problem apparently was a heater failure and that the pool has been closed since Saturday morning.
Patch contacted the center, where the person who answered the phone said that only pool director Amanda Garcia can provide information and will not be available to comment until Tuesday.
