If you need somebody local who raised all her children in Albany, go to Tax Services Plus over at the Professional Building at EC Plaza (technically she's on the Albany side of the creek).. Disclaimer: She's my mother so I'm a bit biased, but she does my taxes every year!

I have used TurboTax each year for more than 20 years. But, I download / install the software on my computer. Cal me old fashioned, but I don't like the idea of tax information on the cloud.

We have used former neighbor and still friend Harry Rabin and Company for more than 25 years. My late mother-in-law used his son, David, who also handled her estate. Although their office is in El Cerrito, the family lived in Albany for many years and Harry's wife, Kay, served on the school board. David lives here. We highly recommend them. Doug and Ruth Eaton
