Rockridge Past: A Crime at Christmastime

WOMAN ROBBED WHILE CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

While Christmas shopping in Oakland yesterday, Mrs. David Hanbury Banta. widow of David Hanbury. wealthy Englishman of Vallejo, and wife of Wllliim A. Banta, was robbed by a pickpocket of $100 and a signet ring, a Christmas present for her 4-year-old son.
