Activists at the Gill Tract released this statement via email at 12:05 p.m.
"Activists once again asserted public access to the in Albany, CA for the fifth harvest party of crops planted during the three-week occupation of the farmland earlier this Spring.
"A University of California Police officer opened the main gate to accommodate the volunteer urban farmers.
"When the harvest is complete at 3 PM, an ad-hoc assembly of today's participants will decide where and how to give away the produce."
