Wanted: Your Voice on Albany Patch

I'm looking for a few good bloggers to post on Albany Patch. We rolled out our blog section in 2011.

Share your expertise, voice your opinion or get the word out about your organization in the Albany Patch blogging section, which launched in May 2011.

Like to write? Passionate about issues in Albany? We have a spot for you.

Albany Patch will continue to be a place where you can find daily, original reporting about issues throughout this "one square mile." (It's actually 1.7 square miles, but who's counting?)

Find out what's happening in Albanywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

We'd also like to open our doors to a new set of voices, which we hope will offer another section of engaging ideas that are full of surprises.

The blog platform may well be more free-wheeling than our home page. And although I'll have the final say whether a blog post is published, for the most part, anything that is legal goes.

Find out what's happening in Albanywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Whether your bag is education, government, business needs, the waterfront, dog issues or the challenges of parenting, we'd like you to consider blogging on Albany Patch.

If you're an Albany resident, or someone who works in Albany, with an existing blog or a desire to start one, our new blogging section may be a good fit.

Bloggers will be unpaid, and Patch will edit the posts only lightly, for spelling and grammar. Ultimately, this is a chance to share your expertise and opinions with a wider audience.

Email albany@patch.com if you'd like to know more.
