The first annual Albany FilmFest was such a success that we’re back to do it again. Now in its second year, Albany FilmFest is a national juried festival of short films (and really short films) of all genres—an annual showcase for emerging filmmakers of all ages, including two special youth categories.

This year, the centerpiece of our festival will be the films you submit in our special themed category “My Own Private Albany” about — that’s right — Albany, California.

We consider all submissions that meet our criteria for entry. Winning films will also be screened on Albany’s community media channels: on cable TV, and will be streamed on our website.

Come and go all day for $5 (adults) and $1 (kids).
