The Albany Theater shows new releases on two screens, upstairs and downstairs. Check here for the latest show times, listings and film summaries, grab some popcorn and be whisked away into the world of film.

Every month or so the theater also plays host to the cult classic . Watch the calendar and the marquee.

$8 - Students, seniors (62+), children (under 12) and bargain matinees (all Monday to Friday shows before 6 p.m., and the first show on weekends and holidays)

The movie schedule is current, but it looks like we neglected to change the date on which they were updated last. Thanks for the heads up. I removed that line as not to confuse readers in the future.

I've seen both LOVE CRIME and MIDNIGHT IN PARIS, and they're both very good. Though you couldn't get to more disparate takes on life in France. LOVE CRIME is a subdued, chilling little tale of corporate backstabbing, manipulated passions, and meticulous revenge. MIDNIGHT is a thoroughly charming Valentine to the City of Lights, both celebrating and lampooning the great artists who have called Paris home. Woody Allen made quite the return to form with this lovely comedy.
