The Circus Differential: A Clockwork World of Cogs & Gears (12pm)

European-style Circus Features Clockwork World of Cogs & Gears

 Directed and conceived by award-winning Cirque Du Soleil alumni Jaron Hollander, The Circus Differential, a European-style theater of the circus featuring a clock-work world of gears, steam power and awe-inspiring circus acts, opens a 3-week run on March 9, 2012 in Oakland’s downtown Kinetic Arts Center.

This highly theatrical production is performed by professionally trained, local youth artists, and features a variety of acts in a Cirque-Du-Soleil- like show that is fun for the whole family. Come and be transported to another world!

Albany High School student Marieke Dailey and Emeryville student Sage Smith, who attends Oakland School of the Arts, will perform in the show. 

There is plenty of free parking in our lot or on the street. Matinees are on Sundays at noon and there is a second show at 5 p.m.  Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m. Kinetic Arts is located at 785 Seventh St., close to the 14th Street exit from U.S. 980.

Ticket Information

Advance Tickets: $10 for youths, $15 for adults, $30 - VIP reserved seating. 

Prices at the door are: $15 for youths, $20 for adults.

Please note that seating is general admission (except for VIP tickets) and those under 21 are encouraged to sit on the foam floor close to the ring curb for a unique view of the performance.
