Flowers On Display: Not Just Wild and Edible
Munchable flora can make marvelous bouquets too.
When Susan Schwartz, animating spirit behind Friends of Five Creeks, held a recent walk devoted to edible plants along Cerrito Creek, one of the people to show up was Marites Fermin, wife of Albany's urban forester, Tony Wolcott. Fermin, who said she enjoys arranging flowers for friends and co-workers, found inspiration along the way.
