Local Food Potluck with Transition Albany

Transition Albany invites you and your friends and family to a
LOCAL FOODS POTLUCK with a permaculture twist (brand new documentary).

We will start eating by 5:15 pm and begin the movie at 5:45 to leave
time for discussion afterwards.

** Bring a dish with ingredients from a 100-mile radius
** Enter your recipe to win a copy of Gaia's Garden, by Toby Hemenway
** Watch and discuss The Growing Edge, a brand new documentary by local permaculture teacher Starhawk and film maker Donna Read
** Learn why natural methods of pest control & soil enrichment work much better in the long run than chemicals; Nan Wishner will be a special guest
** BYO reusable plate, cup, utensils and napkin if you can, to help make this a zero waste event

As usual there is no entry fee (beyond a tasty dish), but your donation
will help pay for the venue and our ongoing expenses ($5 would be nice, $10 would be great).

Call 528-2261 to reserve a place at the table, or take your chances
(there is a limit to the number of people who will fit in the room).
