Video: Beard and Mustache Madness

As part of Albany's Fourth of July celebration, residents competed in a beard and mustache contest.

An apparently popular growth of facial hair took top honors Sunday in a beard and mustache competition at Albany's July 4th celebration in Memorial Park.

The winner among the three contestants -- selected by the loudest applause from the audience -- was Gabe Baracker of Albany.

The prize? A free haircut. It is unclear whether or not a beard trim is included.

People without facial hair were given a chance to compete in a "fake hair" division.
