Why did you move to Albany?

I moved to Albany 20 years ago from Hayward because I liked the small-town feel. It's very community oriented, too.

What does the Fourth of July mean to you?

It's a significant day. It is a day to remember our individual freedom. Our freedom is related to the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. The Fourth of July means what this country proves us.

What do you like best about Albany?

I like its civic spirit. It's a quiet town and yet there are lots of activities like today's events.

What would you like to change about Albany if you could?

I can't think of anything.  It's a great town.
