Rains May Return Wednesday

We may still be in for some wet weather this week.

Don't put that umbrella into storage yet.

Rain may return to the East Bay on Wednesday in a midweek interruption of our sunny weather.

The National Weather Service says there is a 50 percent chance of showers in the region during the day Wednesday and a 20 percent chance of rain in the evening. (In Albany, the likelihood is 60 percent.)

Temperatures are forecast to be in the low 60s with winds of about 10 mph.

The rain isn't expected to last long. The NWS forecasts mostly sunny skies for Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 60s.

A partly sunny day is predicted for Saturday with mostly sunny weather on Sunday and the Memorial Day holiday on Monday.

Temperatures could get back up to 70 degrees Monday.
