The King and Queen of the Albany High School Choirs invite you to our magnificent castle hall: kick off the holiday season with our royal court, beautiful maidens and pleasant peasants as we invite you for singing, dancing, acting, eating, and more. Historical Context:
A traditional Madrigal Dinner is a form of dinner theater that recreates Renaissance feasts and gatherings held in 16th century England during the winter season. They are set in the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and are generally comedic in nature. Guests lucky enough to be invited into the King's halls for these dinners were treated to delicious food, great revelry, delightful humorous skits, and wonderful madrigals, carols, and instrumental music.
Tickets: $20 general admission; $17 for students and seniors.
