Albany Preschool Cooperative Open House

Albany Preschool is a play-based parent cooperative for children aged 2 years 9 months to 5. (Priority is given to children who are 3 years old by Sept. 1.) We are now accepting applications for both morning and afternoon programs for the 2013-14 school year. Come see our preschool (now in its 75th year!) and meet other families at our Open House at 850 Masonic, Albany, on Saturday, January 12, from 10:00-12:00. Bring the whole family to mingle over refreshments, participate in winter play activities, and see preschool at its best. Priority enrollment deadline is January 26.

Tours are available throughout the year; you are welcome to bring your prospective preschooler with you on the tour.. Please call Ewa Maris at (415) 676-0633 or email tours@albanypreschool.org to schedule a tour.

Albany Preschool is a place where kids play, learn and love school. Parents and teachers work together to create a nurturing community of friends. Children play, cook, garden, enjoy music, are read to, sing, and more, under the care of our experienced teachers and a rotating group of parents. The school consists of an open, spacious, sunny building with two play yards. One features a climbing structure with monkey bars and a slide, the other contains a playhouse, swings, garden, sand and water play areas.

Albany Preschool is a parent cooperative offering a Morning Program with parent classroom participation, an Afternoon Program program without parent classroom participation, and a Summer Program. Albany Preschool welcomes families from all races, religions, and backgrounds. Children must be toilet-trained at the time of admission. See http://albanypreschool.org for more information.
