Free lecture: Jack van der Meulen on "Working with Lower Body Energy."

In the energetic system outlined in Tibetan Yoga, the lower body is the center of vitality and health.

An emphasis on mental tasks can disconnect us from the nourishing energy of the lower body, and, as a result, we may feel drained by our work and become prone to a host of aches and pains.

In this talk, Tibetan Yoga instructor Jack van der Meulen will demonstrate gentle exercises that re-energize the belly, hips, and legs, reconnecting us to the vitality of full embodiment.

Jack van der Meulen has been a student of Kum Nye since the 1990’s. His careful and caring style makes his classes particularly beloved by beginning and intermediate students, who appreciate his clear and gentle instructions.

The Nyingma Institute's Spring Quarter begins March 24.  Visit us online for a schedule of our Spring courses, including drop-in Tibetan Yoga (Kum Nye) courses.
