Help Cerrito Creek at Albany Hill
Join Friends of Five Creeks removing trash and a variety of invasives
along this beautiful restored area in Albany and El Cerrito, from the historic willow grove to
tidal reaches. Find out about the fascinating history of this little
creek!
Light and heavy work for all -- all ages welcome! Young
children can enjoy the play structure or splash in the creek. Tools,
gloves, snacks, water, and good company provided. Wear closed-toed shoes
with good traction -- long pants and sleeves recommended. No RSVP
required -- just show up!
Meet at 10 AM at El Cerrito's Creekside
Park, south end of Santa Clara Ave. (3499 Santa Clara on Internet maps,
AC Transit 25 or 72, easy walk from El Cerrito Plaza BART).
