Each year during fire Prevention Week in Oct., the does safety presentations to all the elementary schools in Albany.
One of the events of the week is the Albany Fire Department Pancake Breakfast. This breakfast is to benefit the Alisa Ann Ruch burn foundation.
There will also be raffles, natural gas safety demonstrations, electrical safety training, fire engine tours, and Sparky the Fire Dog will be in attendance.
