Veterans Honored by Scouts & Lions Clubs of Albany & Nearby Cities

Cub and Boy Scouts along with members of Lions Clubs from Albany, Berkeley, Crockett and El Cerrito placed flags at the graves of veterans at Sunset View Cemetery in El Cerrito on Veterans Day today, Monday.

The annual Veterans Day flag-planting remembrance at Sunset View Cemetery drew scouts and Lions Club representatives from Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito and Crockett this morning, Monday.

"Representatives from the Albany, Berkeley, West Berkeley, El Cerrito and Crockett Lions Clubs gathered this morning to plant flags on the graves of veterans at Sunset View Cemetery. Also present were members of Cub Scouts Pack 3, Pack 30 and Pack 82. Boy Scouts Troop 6, Troop 24 and Troop 100. The event was sponsored by the El Cerrito Lions Club."

Also attending were scouts from Troops 19 and 104, he said.
