Serious Family Protection - One Needs a License

A vast untapped market of of unarmed dogs and cats awaits our enterprising arms manufacturers. Gun-Puppy!

My wife is afraid that people won't take this as an anti-gun message. Daisy was able to make so much chaos as a puppy, even without a gun, that I thought people would see right off what a bad idea it would be to arm our pets. After hearing a few of the NRA's spokesmen, I fear she is right. When the gun manufacturers apprise the vast untapped market of unarmed dogs and cats, the legislators will fall in line, regulations will be updated, and soon we will be flooded with new weapons adapted for tail-activation or one shot for every woof.

The source cited in this announcement states up to 1,400 gallons of herbicide possibly includingRead More Roundup might be used rather than 14,000 gallons of Roundup will be used. Not that I am in favor of dosing the environment with petrochemicals, but I do like to make decisions based on facts. I also have to wonder about the accuracy of the source given that it is an opinion piece rather than an article.

And now for the more balanced reporting: "But U.C. Berkeley wants to remove most of its 22,000Read More eucalyptus and acacia trees, then restore native species like they did in the Claremont Canyon." From this article: http://abclocal.go.com/kgo/story?section=news/local/east_bay&id=9107025

Like many folks in Albany, I have a prior commitment, volunteering at the APAL Bicycle Rodeo. If IRead More have time between the end of the Rodeo and when I have to go to work, I will come and show my support. Either way, I will pass the info on to some of my friends and neighbors and hope you will do the same.
