In Case You Missed It: Michael Horse, Artist, Actor, Activist
Albany's man for all seasons — and most occupations.
Painter, sculptor, jewelry designer, horse trainer, activist occupier of Alcatraz — Native American artist Michael Horse, whose work has shown frequently at Albany's Gathering Tribes Gallery, has worn many hats.
But perhaps his best-known role was as Deputy Hawk on the critically acclaimed TV series Twin Peaks.
Albany Patch profiled Horse in February, just before his 18th year of exhibiting in the Annual Marin Show: Art of the Americas.
