Readiness Tip #4: Emergency Preparedness Pouch

Be prepared at all times anywhere with this easy-to-assemble Ziploc.

With the recent earthquakes I’ve realized that I may be anywhere when an earthquake suddenly strikes. How can I always be prepared, even on BART, walking to the store, etc? Well, I carry a purse, and now I can put my quart-sized Ziploc with emergency goodies right inside. Peace of mind restored.

This is small and inexpensive, and has critical items. You can carry this with you in your purse or computer case so you’ll be prepared at all times.

Put inside a quart-sized Ziploc:

  • small flashlight
  • Kleenex
  • hand sanitizer
  • 6 ft of string
  • emergency blanket
  • permanent marker
  • high energy bar
  • bandana
