'Kindergarten Readiness' Talk by Eileen McKenzie

Join us for a talk on Kindergarten readiness this Wednesday, March 13, from 7 - 8 p.m. at the Albany Senior Center. Free!

The Albany Preschool Cooperative is hosting a community talk given by Albany Unified School District Kindergarten teacher Eileen McKenzie on Wednesday, March 13, from 7-8 p.m. at the Albany Senior Center Community room (846 Masonic Ave., Albany, 94706). 

Topics will include social/emotional development, and what to expect on a typical school day and throughout the first year of kindergarten. Light refreshments will be served. 

Eileen McKenzie has worked in the Albany School District for 21 years. She holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and she specializes in conflict management in education. She is trained in mindfulness in curriculum education and is certified in community meditation.

Eileen has three grown children (all Albany Preschool Cooperative alumni), and she lives in Albany with her husband.
