2013 Albany Arts & Green Festival May 19, 11-3, at Memorial Park

The program is set for the 2013 Albany Arts and Green Festival, and it’s going to be a great day! Join the fun May 19, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Memorial Park and celebrate Albany’s commitment to the environment with live youth performances and green resources. Over 40 booths will offer ideas for saving energy and money, connect you with local green organizations, show you how your food and lifestyle choices can make a difference, and showcase City of Albany projects. This year food trucks and beer and wine vendors join our great food offerings. You can grab a bag of compost for your garden, recycle your electronic junk, valet park your bike, or even get a bike tune-up. Albany Arts & Green Festival is brought to you by our sponsors the City of Albany, the Albany Sustainability Committee, Advanced Home Energy, Bua Luang Thai Cuisine, Carbon Neutral Albany, Transition Albany, and Albany Strollers & Rollers.
