AHS buildOn Club Top Fundraiser in Nation

Albany High's BuildOn club raised the most money of any chapter in the United States in the first week of the 'We Build On' Campaign.  Furthermore, sophomore Legeng Liu, raised the most of anyone nationwide!  The club is raising money to build a school in Nepal and several members are hoping to travel there over spring break to help build it.  The club has raised close to $30,000 towards the building of the school.  To make a contribution or for more information, please contact English teacher Juliet Chiarella at jchiarella@ausdk12.org.

BuildOn runs school youth service programs that mobilize urban teens to lift up their communities and change the world through intensive local community service, and by building schools in some of the poorest countries on the planet.
