Remembering Maggie Castanon-Hill

A memorial service will be held on May 11 at 12 p.m. at the Putah Creek Lodge in Davis.

Maggie Castanon-Hill passed on April 22, 2014 at the age of 70.  

She was a Curtis Street resident for 38 years and was surrounded by neighbors who have many fond memories of Maggie and her family. Maggie was friendly, outgoing and loved spending time with her family and friends, as her home was home to many.

Maggie loved books, people and was the first woman sales rep for the bay area Random House for over 30 years. She was loved by all her colleagues and anyone that she met though her travels.

She is survived by her children: Misti Mussatto, Rito, Amalia, Elisita Castanon-Hill and her grandchildren whom will miss her dearly.  

Her memorial will be at Putah Creek Lodge in Davis, on the UC campus at noon on May 11 (Mother's Day).

People can make any donation instead of flowers in her honor to the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, in Oakland. 

It is a clinic that provides free alternative care for Women with cancer. She was a Mother to all and loved her community.
