High Speed chase on 900 Block of Cornell Ave

On Tuesday evening about 9:32 PM. A car going about 85 MPH. from Marin to Solano Ave. Followed by (3) Police, going just as fast. Didn't see anything about this on the new's.

Does anyone know what was the reason for this hot pursuit? What was the out come?

No clue, but I would like to make a plea again for speed bumps in the 900 block of Cornell and Talbot. Imagine if this had been during school hours ...

We drove west on Portland from Masonic to Cornell Tuesday about 10pm, and saw numerous Berkeley police cars, motionless but with lights on, apparently blocking south-bound access to streets including Cornell. Maybe this was a continuation of the 9:32 event?

They sped past my home on Washington and the car crashed into another car around Cornell and Talbot. I looked down the street and saw people coming out of their homes to try to help, and then they started running away from the scene, so my guess is the driver jumped out and started to flee (I was a couple blocks away so couldn't see exactly what happened). After that cop cars were driving around the blocks for about 30 minutes, I assume they were looking for the driver. That's all I know.
