Albany Local Week - Saturday's edition

WOW! There are lots of special events today to close out local week, starting with the Run Around Town and ending with the As You Wish movie night.  In between I am sure you have shopping to do along with banking or a trip to a local fitness club.  You probably need to visit one of the local cafes just to get started on this busiest day of Local Week. Remember to keep combining activities to get the most out of your activity points.

Since today is the last Saturday of the month Suzette Crepes will provide free coffee to all runners.  Meet there, 1226 Solano Ave at 8:00 for Run Around Town..  http://albanyca.org/?page=16&recordid=7417&returnURL=%2findex.aspx

Invest from the Ground Up http://investfromthegroundup.org/albanys-tree-heroes/ will be holding a tree planting project in Albany today. City Arborist, Tony Wolcott describes the schedule as busy and full of activities in addition to the actual tree planting.
