Groove to the 60"s - Albany Rotary Fundraiser

GROOVE to the 60’s at the Albany Y, 921 Kains Ave, on Saturday, November 9, 2013, from 7:30 – 10:30 p.m. 

Music, DJ, contests, light fare, auction.  Beer and wine for purchase.

Tickets to this fun event are only $25, available at the Albany Y, from Rotarians, and online at www.AlbanyCaRotary.org/party.  This party is the annual fundraiser for the Albany Rotary Club.

Attendees are encouraged to wear tie-dye or your best 60’s style as there will be a PRIZE for best attire.

Proceeds will help fund Rotary local and international projects such as:

·          Albany Little League teams

·          Albany Berkeley Girls Softball League teams

·          Requested books for Albany School libraries

·          Villa Scholarships for local high school seniors

·          Repainting benches on Solano Ave

·          Meals for Relay for Life, and local homeless shelter

·          Track literacy program

·          Meals for RotaCare Clinic staff (this clinic provides medical care for those without insurance, including those from Albany)

•  Polio eradication
