Albany Peace Officers' Association Pitches in on Albany High Wish List
Albany police made a special delivery at the high school just in time for the holidays.

Responding to the Albany Patch article on Dec. 15, "" members of the went on a shopping trip and knocked some items off the list in support of .
Members of the association contributed $275 to the cause and, on Dec. 21, Sgt. Chris Willis, Sgt. Dave Bettencourt and Detective Dave Lembi purchased supplies for the high school including pencils, markers, paper clips, folders, staplers, hole punches, blenders and more.

"It was amazing to read how much the school needed in the way of simple supplies," said Bettencourt. "I was pleased our membership was able to help them out in this small way."
Willis added, "This is a very worthwhile thing."
