Cyclist Sent to Hospital After Crash at Masonic, Marin

Wednesday night, a cyclist was taken to the hospital after a driver struck her on Masonic Avenue, police said Friday.
The woman, who was in her 30s, was traveling north on Masonic when the driver, who was in his 60s, was heading south on Masonic, said Lt. Dan Adams of the .
The driver struck the cyclist at approximately 9:40 p.m. as he turned left onto eastbound Marin.

The cyclist suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
Adams said, via email, that no citation was issued at the scene.

The collision report is not yet complete, he added, but the preliminary primary collision factor appeared to be an unsafe turning movement on the part of the driver.
