Did You Feel It? 3.3 Earthquake Shakes Albany
The tremor struck in Berkeley just before 4 a.m.
A 3.3-magnitude earthquake shook Alameda County early Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The epicenter of the 3:51 a.m. quake was near Derby Street and Piedmont Avenue in Berkeley.
The quake had a depth of four miles, according to the USGS.

Several locals reported feeling the quake on Twitter.
"Hayward fault just shook - #earthquake woke me up - Magnitude 3.4 in #Berkeley #AlbanyCA #SFBay," wrote of Albany.

"That was a decent sized quake -- 4?" wrote Jennifer Russell, who later added "adrenaline surge, anyone? Can't fall back asleep..."

As of 7:20 a.m., the survey had received 1,081 responses from 79 zip codes about the morning quake. Fifty were from Albany.
