Feel It? Mild Quake By Berkeley Lab

The U.S. Geological Survey said the earthquake registered 2.7 on the Richter magnitude scale.

A small earthquake shook east Berkeley at 9:18 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. 

As of 10:14 p.m., the report had not been reviewed by a seismologist.

The epicenter of the quake was reported beneath Chu Road, just west of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

It had a reported quake depth of 6.2 miles.
