Indecent Exposure Alert from Police

Police have issued an alert about a series of six reported indecent exposure crimes apparently by the same man in Albany and Berkeley in the mornings between 6 and 8.

Albany and Berkeley police have received six reported incidents of indecent exposure apparently by the same man in the morning over the last several weeks, police said Friday.

Here is an alert issued by the Albany Police Department:

There is currently a series of indecent exposure crimes occurring in Albany and Berkeley. Over the last several weeks a total of 6 reports of this activity have been received by the Albany and Berkeley Police Departments.

The Suspect is described as a White Male Adult in his 30s, unshaven or with a full beard, 5’08”-5’-10” tall, 150-170 lbs, wearing a hoodie or yellow jacket with the hood up and possibly carrying a backpack. The suspect has been seen exposing himself and, or, masturbating in public.

The crimes have been occurring on or around upper Solano Ave., and in the area of Key Route Blvd. and Santa Fe Ave. on weekday mornings between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

Anyone who sees a subject matching this description involved in suspicious activity is asked to call the Albany Police Department right away at
