More than 1,000 members of the Northern California Law Enforcement community and Special Olympics Northern California athletes will carry the Flame of Hope throughout Northern California as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run. This year's Law Enforcement Torch Run started on June 13 in Tulare County.

On Tuesday morning, the torch run will resume in Alameda at 7:00am. At approximately 11:15 am, the Albany Police Department will hand-off the torch to the El Cerrito Police Department in front of Wells Fargo Bank at 9800 San Pablo Ave, El Cerrito. The El Cerrito Police Department will carry the torch north on San Pablo Ave to Macdonald Ave, with a brief stop at City Hall (10890 San Pablo Ave.), then along San Pablo Dam Rd. where they will pass the torch to the Richmond Police Department.

The El Cerrito Police Department will carry the torch for approximately four miles of its journey through counties all over Northern California, culminating at the Opening Ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games to be held at UC Davis starting on Friday, June 27th

Special Olympics is an international non-profit, providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of sports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities, free of charge. The El Cerrito Police Department is a proud supporter of Special Olympics.

You say "On Tuesday morning, the torch run will resume in Alameda at 7:00am". Do you mean Albany? If so, what location?
