Madera School Locked Down – Cops Arrest 3 Suspected Burglars
Madera Elementary School in El Cerrito was placed on lockdown this morning, Thursday, while police searched for suspects in a nearby home burglary. The lockdown was lifted after three suspects were caught hiding in backyards, police said.
Madera Elementary School in El Cerrito was locked down temporarily this morning, Thursday, as police searched for burglars in the neighborhood, police said.
The lockdown was lifted after El Cerrito police arrested three suspects "hiding in backyards adjacent to the school grounds," El Cerrito police said in a crime alert. An alert neighbor helped police located the suspects, police said.
The trio are believed responsible for a residential burglary at Brewster Drive and Devonshire drives, police said.
