Police Bulletin: Online Identity Theft, Stolen Cycle, Digging Marsh Men and More

MARCH 28, DAYSHIFT

6:02 a.m. A radio was stolen from an un-locked vehicle on Ventura Avenue. Case report taken.

10:11 a.m. An REI Novara Aspen mountain bike was stolen from Pomona Avenue. The bike was described as purple wth red rubber handgrips and a black seat. The bike was leaning against a tree on a front lawn for about 30 minutes. Log note only.

10:43 a.m. A caller on Adams Street reported than an unknown person had obtained his or her personal information and set up email accounts and was sending "solicitation regarding pornographic sites." Case report taken.

12:46 p.m. Someone entered the campus and stole copper wires during the night. Case report taken.

4:54 p.m. Someone reported that several males were "in the protected wildlife area for birds... digging up the marshland." Matter referred to an outside agency.

MARCH 28, NIGHTSHIFT

6:29 p.m. Someone called to complain about "two of his neighbor's vehicles which are barely running." The man said he "had talked to his neighbor about this matter, however his neighbor does not seem to cooperate." Log note only.

8:21 p.m. Someone on Washington Street called because "he wants an 'investigation' for his panic attack back in December." According to the police bulletin, he "was not making a lot of sense and... did not want police or medical help." Matter referred to outside agency.

1:03 a.m. Police arrested Steven Richard Mason of Vallejo on suspicion of driving under the influence near the Buchanan interchange. He was taken to the Glenn E. Dyer Detention Facility in Oakland.
