6:31 p.m. Battery, Outstanding Warrants

A woman on San Pablo Avenue reportedly "smacked" an employee in the face. She was heading north on San Pablo on the east side of the street. Police arrested Shonte Alberty of San Leandro on suspicion of battery, along with four outstanding warrants. She was taken to Santa Rita Jail. 

7:20 p.m. 911 Call

Police received a 911 call from Jackson Street, but found it to be someone teaching a child how to call the emergency line.

7:51 p.m. Mis Pub Auto

A semi-truck reportedly hit power lines on Pierce Street, causing a power outage. PG&E responded.

10:03 p.m. Traffic Hazard

Police helped control traffic at I-580 and Buchanan Avenue because the traffic lights were out.

11:45 p.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Noelle Sansouci of Oakland on suspicion of driving under the influence when an officer stopped her at San Pablo and Solano avenues. She was taken to North County Jail.

10:31 a.m. Abandoned Vehicle

Someone reported a vehicle on Pierce Street with a flat tire that had been sitting for a week. 

11:01 a.m. Hazard

An electrical wire was down on Garfield Avenue. It was reported to PG&E.

11:52 a.m. Hit and Run - Property Damage

Someone watched a champagne-colored older sedan make a U-turn in front of the YMCA on Kains, hitting his or her vehicle. Disposition: Log note only.

2:53 p.m. Petty Theft

A rear license plate was taken while a shopper was inside . Disposition: Case report taken.

4:36 p.m. Juvenile Problem

Four young men threw a chair in the middle of the street. The caller did not know where the chair came from. Two of them went toward Solano. The caller moved the chair to the side of the street. Disposition: Unable to locate source of the complaint.

5:03 p.m. Abandoned Vehicle

A covered vehicle has been parked on Pierce for several weeks. Disposition: Log Note Only.

5:10 p.m. Suspicious Person/s

Two men in their 20s, possibly rolling a joint, were hanging out outside . One, in a black t-shirt, had a shaved head with tattoos. The other was wearing a gray hoody and wool cap. Both were on bikes. Disposition: Miscellaneous violation; warning given.

MARCH 4 NIGHTSHIFT

7:03 p.m. Vandalism

A vandalism occurred at Plaza Electric Service on San Pablo. 

7:53 p.m. Citizen Assist

A water main broke on Eastshore near Target. Disposition: Miscellaneous public service provided.

7:57 p.m. Disturbance of the Peace

A loud group was reported in front of . Disposition: Unable to locate the source of the complaint.

8:04 p.m. Disturbance of the Peace

A woman at Sizzler on San Pablo was reportedly causing a disturbance. Disposition: Unable to locate the source of the complaint.

10:07 p.m. Juvenile Problem

A group in the concourse area not assigned to a lane at the was "drinking Jello shots." Disposition: No police activity warranted at this time.

10:27 p.m. Suspicious Person/s

An employee at asked police to help encourage a "subject inside the store's dumpster" to "move along." Disposition: Police gave the subject a warning.

11:14 p.m. Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Police arrested Anthony Thomas Chavez of Oakland after he was said to be walking near Buchanan Avenue and Adams Street "slamming signs and yelling making a lot of noise." Chavez was arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia, and for an outstanding warrant. He was taken to North County Jail. 

12:32 a.m. Disturbance of the Peace

A group of dart players in the bar area at the Albany Bowl were reported to have been getting progressively more escalated over a period of 20 minutes. Disposition: Log note only.

12:52 a.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Lonnie Mosley of El Cerrito near on suspicion of driving under the influence. Mosley was taken to North County Jail. 

1:54 a.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Mariko Matayoshi of Vallejo, at Jackson Street on suspicion of driving under the influence. She was taken to North County Jail. 

3:52 a.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Christopher T. Connelly of Berkeley on suspicion of driving under the influence near San Pablo and Camelia Street.

4:37 a.m. Petty Theft

A landfill resident visited the police lobby to report that someone had stolen her tent. Disposition: Case report taken.

MARCH 4 NIGHTSHIFT

9:12 a.m. Vehicle Theft

A car stolen from Stannage Avenue was found in Oakland on 61st Street in the middle of the road with the keys in the ignition. Disposition: Case report taken.

12:24 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance

Someone reported two vans in the 100 block of Adams that appeared to have residents. The vans, one gold and one white, had been parked on the east side of the street with a male and multiple females living in them. Disposition: Log note only.

4:47 p.m. Suspicious Circumstance

Four to five teenage boys on bikes appeared to have been looking into houses on Talbot Avenue. Disposition: Unable to locate the source of the complaint.

March 5, NightShift

7:06 p.m. Suspicious Person/s

A woman in the 100 block of Adams said neighbors on the west side of the street were making "lots of noise, drinking" and possibly doing drugs. She said it is an ongoing problem, and asked for police to check it out. The neighbors were told and said they would behave better.

10:31 p.m. Residential or Vehicle Lockout

A subject got locked inside , in the parking lot. Disposition: Miscellaneous public service provided.

10:49 p.m. Suspicious Vehicle

Police cited two young men outside  on suspicion of being younger than 21 and possessing alcohol, Pitoe Lor of Albany and Alberto Mahani of El Cerrito.

12:49 a.m. Disturbance of the Peace

Someone reported a fight in the parking lot at Albany Bowl, but police couldn't find the source of the complaint.

MARCH 6, DAYSHIFT

8:45 a.m. Suspicious Vehicles

Two vans in the 100 block of Kains are still in the area. As per the police bulletin, "people stayed overnight are now cooking breakfast." Disposition: Miscellaneous violation - Warning Given.

2:08 p.m. Suspicious Person/s

Someone reported that 10 minutes earlier, a group of teenage boys on bikes in the 100 block of Madison were "cruising the area looking intently down driveways and at cars." Disposition: Unable to locate the source of the complaint.

MARCH 6, NIGHTSHIFT

8:26 p.m. Suspicious Person/s

A young man visited the same house on Evelyn Avenue three times asking for "Duffy." He was described as 13, wearing a green sweater, with blonde hair and blue eyes. The woman said she had never seen the boy before and "has no idea who Duffy is." Disposition: Unable to locate source of the complaint.

10:43 p.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested Carlos Prado of Pinole near Cerrito Street on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was taken to North County Jail.

3:26 a.m. Driving Under the Influence

Police arrested a Kensington woman on suspicion of driving under the influence after someone reported a gold or silver Nissan Maxima near Cerrito driving "at about 10 mph on Buchanan... and was concerned" about the driver's safety. Police arrested Katherine E. McClaine. She was taken to North County Jail.
